Calling all Moms of Boys!

We are dealing with a problem in our home that is not unusual from what I hear.  Our son, nearly 5, has decided that he can avoid a lot of hassle (flushing, washing his hands, etc.) by  going to the bathroom in the yard somewhere rather than coming inside to go.  Yikes.

Courage Enough

I have been feeling very discouraged about how things are progressing regressing in our household in regard to Bud.  We started him on herbal/homeopathic supplements 2 weeks ago, and since then have had an increase in bad behavior, temper tantrums, and trouble falling asleep.  Each day has been a trial, and I am feeling battle-weary.

In an effort to keep my children's identities safe, I have changed their names for my blogging purposes.  Missy is my 6 year old.  Bud is my nearly 5 year old, and Baby is, of course, the baby.  Hope this doesn't confuse anyone (especially me…).

Bedtime Blues

 "You're just being so mean to me!" Bud yells at me from his bed. "I'll get  you for this!"  He screams.  *Sigh*  You see, it is bedtime at our house and he's upset over my choice of bedtime music tonight, but the reason is really pretty inconsequential.  It could be just about anything, and often is.
